“You’re a little too dry, eat some pasta!” Camille Lou, Constance Labbé and Claire Romain reveal their impressive physical preparation for Cat's Eyes, the TF1 event series

Camille Lou, Constance Labbé and Claire Romain, the three actresses of Cat’s Eyesthe TF1 event series, benefited from intense physical preparation.

From this Monday, November 11, 2024, TF1 is offering from 9:15 p.m. its version of the eponymous Japanese manga by Tsukasa Hōjō in live action – but with one big change – soberly titled Cat’s Eyes. In this story transposed to 2023 in , Camille Lou plays Tam. Back in the Capital, ten years after the disappearance of her father in the mysterious fire of his art gallery, she finds her two sisters: the eldest, Sylia (played by Constance Labbé, seen in Balthazar), and Alexia (Claire Romain, seen in Here it all begins). Together, they will try to get their hands on works of art that belonged to their father, in the hope of understanding what happened to him. For this fiction, the three actresses performed most of their stunts, often spectacular.

Their physical preparation was therefore intense. “Before I even knew I was going to film Cat's Eyes, I started exercising because I needed to feel in shape. For several months, I worked with Tony Fisher, a coach. We then had several weeks of preparation based on climbing, parkour with world champion Simon Nogueira who appeared during the 2024 Olympic Games ceremony, and abs/gluteal strength training.Camille Lou told us, who also confided to Paris Match that she had subjected herself to such discipline for four months before the filming that her coach had reacted: “Maybe I went a little too hard. At one point, Tony said to me: “Wow, Camille, you’re a little too dry, eat some pasta!”

“With Constance and Camille, we learned to rappel upside down, to turn around in the air or to throw ourselves backwards. I didn't have any confidence in myself. I always asked if the carabiner was okay hooked!”, told us Claire Romain who suffers from severe dizziness. As for Constance Labbé, she is lucky to be sporty. “As a child, I did ten years of swimming, then as a teenager, boxing and tennis. Today I run and cycle a lot. So I intensified my practice and did a little muscle strengthening to avoid injury. I also discovered Aikido for my character's fight scenes. Guillaume Labbé’s sister told us.
