During a recent TikTok live, Simon Castaldi looked back on his TV journey. He believes that Nikola Lozina did more for him than his father, Benjamin Castaldi.
Simon Castaldi arrived in the world of reality TV thanks to the program The Princes of Love in 2021. Very quickly, he managed to find a place within the family of Rest of the World led by Nikola Lozina in a second program. The young man then went through a series of reality TV shows until the latest, which is the third season of Fifty. But Simon Castaldi has always heard that he broke into the industry solely thanks to his last name and the fact that he was boosted by his father, Benjamin Castaldi. During a recent live on TikTok, Cassandra Jullia’s companion therefore decided to clarify things.
Simon Castaldi (The Fifty) grateful to Nikola Lozina
By answering questions from Internet users, Simon Castaldi then made it known that it was Nikola Lozina who made him what he is today. “Nikola met me when I was twenty. He took me under his wing. If I am here today, it is largely thanks to him. I don’t need to tell him. I don’t need to say that Nikola is my king, because afterwards, I made my way as I had to. But if he doesn’t take me under his wing when I’m twenty and I don’t know anything about TV, maybe the RDM in Marrakech, I had a shitty season and I would never have been called back”he declared at first.
Simon Castaldi (The Fifty) : “My father has nothing to do with everything I have done for four years”
Subsequently, Simon Castaldi affirmed that his father had nothing to do with his career in television. “I owe more to Nikola Lozina than to my own father for what I have managed to do over the past three years. And people can’t understand that. The hundreds of messages I read on Instagram, on Twitter and everything that say: ‘But he’s acting nervous, but without his father, it would just be shit’. My dad has nothing to do with anything I’ve done in the four years I’ve been in over twelve programs“he explained.
