Bruno Wolkowitch delighted to “play the old man” who doesn’t “sleep with his partners” in Murders in the Verdon Gorges

Saturday November 9, 3 offers Murders in the Verdon Gorges, an episode of his successful collection. After et the Morvan, Bruno Wolkowitch is conducting the investigation for the third time in a Murders in… This time we're heading to the Gorges du Verdon, where a heinous crime has just been committed. If he once again plays a gendarme, the actor does not play on his charms but rather tries to reconnect with his daughter, played by Barbara Probst. And that delights him, as he told us in an interview during the first broadcast of this episode.

Murders in the Verdon Gorges: the reunion between Bruno Wolkowitch and Barbara Probst

Télé-Loisirs. This is the third time that you have played in a Murders in… How is it different from the others?
Bruno Wolkowitch.
It's not the same region! It's not very different in truth, except that it's a trio who leads the investigation and I play the “old” and therefore no longer “sleep” with my partners.

Did you miss it?
On the contrary, I am very happy to be rid of these scenes. [Il rit.]

You play a father who has difficulty communicating with his daughter, played by Barbara Probst. Did you know her before?
Yes, for a very long time. She made her first film with me. It was 19 years ago, she was 15. It was Brother from America, which is one of the most beautiful films I have shot. Barbara is wonderful. She comes from an illustrious family of artists: she is notably the granddaughter of the actress Gisèle Casadesus and a relative of Didier Lockwood, a great jazzman.

In fiction, your relationship with her is difficult. What kind of father are you in life?
I don't know, you'd have to ask my kids [Lou, vue dans Sam sur TF1, et Luca, nés en 2006 et 2011, ndlr]. But I'm not quiet, I try to communicate.

Bruno Wolkowitch doesn't watch

Do you watch the programs you star in?
No, I don't watch TV and even less live. This is the advantage of our time. When I was little, we had to, now that’s not the case. I even watch Roland-Garros in replay!

What type of role would you like to be offered today?
I'm not someone who dreams, I act based on reality. If I like a project, I do it, if I don't like it, I don't do it. I don't fantasize: neither about work, nor about the rest.

Are we still talking to you about the series PJ ?
Yes of course. Afterwards, the thing I hear the most when someone passes me and recognizes me is: “I really like what you do.” Then the person leaves. It's very gentle, caring, but you don't cut a bib either. And when some do, they generally talk to me about themselves, they tell me about their lives. It's funny.
