For some time now, viewers have noticed that there is a lot of product placement in Indefensible.
If the ALBI le Géant advertisement, stuck on the last sequence before the series of regular advertisements, is acceptable, the appearance of logos and/or products in the scenes increasingly annoys the public. Especially since we see logos on water bottles, cars and more.
Another example, in Tuesday’s show, we could clearly see the Café Dépôt brand on Ms. Ouimet’s (Brigitte Lafleur) cup during her visit to the office. See the image below.
In recent weeks, the characters have also eaten Salvatoré’s pizza and consumed Videotron products.

Although it is perhaps more obvious in Indefensible that in other productions, the TVA daily is not the only one to use this type of means of financing.
Moreover, in the most recent episode of Reasonable Doubt, we could clearly see that the vehicle Charline was driving was a KIA. See the image below.
Should we get used to seeing Ricardo’s slow cookers and rice cookers in our favorite characters’ kitchens and seeing them dressed in Nana the Brand and Frank And Oak? For our part, we say to ourselves that if product placement can make it possible to put better quality series on the air, we accept with open arms spontaneous deliveries of Salvatoré pizza or impromptu visits from the Videotron technician. ????♀️
