Geneviève Everell makes surprising confidences about her relationship with money

On this chilly and rainy Friday, the luminous Geneviève Everell was on the set of Julie Bélanger and Jean-Michel Anctil’s talk show, It’s a good end to the week.

Although she admitted that it was undoubtedly the most difficult ordeal of her life, Geneviève is now in remission, and can return full-time to her roles as mother and businesswoman, at the helm of the successful business Sushi at home.

However, the financial situation has not always been favorable for the entrepreneur. Raised in a more difficult environment, she had to sell bottles to buy bus tickets and also use food banks. “ We had our hydro cut off sometimes, in the middle of winter, when I was young » she remembers.

However, with the success of his company, his relationship with money has evolved. She confides:

« There’s a part of me that’s afraid of missing out, so I’m careful. But there is a part of me that wants to live too. So, I will never stop living either! So I’m well organized for that, I’m very proud of myself. I don’t have a loan from the bank, I don’t owe anyone anything. It’s truly extraordinary! I opened my two restaurants with tips that I saved for 10 years. »
