In this new fiction, viewers will discover the Gendarmerie River Brigade 37, known as the Flaubert Brigade. Its particularity? It stands out for its versatility. This special unit, led by Commander Victor Flaubert, combines classic judicial police missions with diving skills. Their field of action extends over a vast portion of the Valley, allowing them to operate both on dry land and in the aquatic depths. A new case mobilizes them: the corpse of a young archaeologist is found in the trunk of a sunken vehicle, a discovery which leads them to the Château de Chambord.

At the end of this unit, which could well do wonders in terms of audiences, many viewers could wonder if they will be able to see this team again separately. Interviewed by Télé-Loisirs on the occasion of the release of her first historical novel, Joan, God’s Rebel (Fayard), director Bénédicte Delmas told us – apart from the fact that she had “pleasure working on this unitary” – that it was “a series pilot“. A sign that, if the audiences are there, we can hope for a sequel. Furthermore, she revealed that she was preparing “another film for France Télévisions, which will be shot in January, and which features a character a little atypical, but very endearing…”
