Prime Audiences: Did the 26th edition of the NRJ Awards manage to turn around last night on TF1, after the historic low of last year?

Yesterday evening, TF1 broadcast the 26th edition of the “NRJ Awards”, presented by Nikos Aliagas, from the Palais des Festivals et des Congrès in . Slimane, entangled in a sexual harassment case brought by a technician on his tour, was elected French-speaking artist of the year.

The prize for the French-speaking female artist went to Vitaa, that of the best group in Indochina, and Pierre Garnier, revealed in the Star Academy, won two titles (French-speaking revelation and best song for “Ceux qu’on été”), at the end of this ceremony in Cannes, broadcast on TF1.

David Guetta won the trophy for best DJ. Indochine was crowned French-speaking group of the year. “We would like to dedicate this trophy to all the women who fight for their freedom (…) and then to all those who suffer moral, academic or sexual harassment,” launched Nicola Sirkis.

On the international side, the prize for female artist went to Taylor Swift and that for male artist to The Weeknd. Benson Boone received the international revelation prize. The American even achieved a double with his title Beautiful Things, named international song of the year.

The Justice duo finally received an Honorary Award for their 20-year career.
