these 6 dead characters we dream of…

On November 1, Télé Star chose six emblematic characters from Plus belle la vie whose deaths were brutal and whom we would love to see resurrected.

Bring the dead back to life, More beautiful life has already done so several times, notably with the false death of Nicolas Barrel, in 2007, the scripted death of Victoire Lissajoux, in 2013, or even more recently that of Patrick Nebout, in 2018. So, on this Friday, November 1, day of the dead, Télé Star has listed six emblematic characters from the series, now broadcast on TF1, that we would love to see resurrected.

Leonard Vassago

How not to start with “the devil himself” ? In 2007, after only three years of broadcast on 3, More beautiful life takes a step forward by bringing one of the craziest characters on French television to the Mistral. After sowing chaos in , Vassago is arrested. But no time for him to rot in prison. He is finally killed by Ornelle, his own wife, who sets him on fire and sacrifices herself at the same time, giving rise to a cult scene in the series. If Jean-François Garreaud, his illustrious interpreter, died in 2020, the screenwriters of More beautiful life would be well advised to give the Devil a second face.

Florian Estève

The second great love of Thomas Marci's life (after Nicolas), the Marseille judge was killed in 2010 by Romain, a teenager in love with him. His death remains one of the tragedies in the life of the character played by Laurent Kérusoré. The couple of the latter with Gabriel has been struggling in recent months, we dream of a (new) return of Judge Estève in the series. Note that Franck Borde, his interpreter, is now in the heyday ofSuch a big sunon France 3.

Wendy Lesage

Murdered by The Enchanter, in 2017, the beautician, played by Céline Vitcoq, was one of the favorite characters of fans of the series who had great difficulty accepting her disappearance. His death strangely coincides with the decline in audiences for the series then broadcast on France 3. What if the most sunny character in the history of the series one day made his big return to the Mistral for the greatest happiness of all?

Jerome Belesta

At the start of the 2019 school year, fans of More beautiful life experienced one of the most dramatic deaths in the series. Trapped in the rubble of a gymnasium, Kevin's father and Laetitia's husband is cowardly murdered by Arnaud Mougin. The departure of the character played by Laurent Orryadored by all, marks one of the dark pages of the last years of the series on France 3. Returning as a ghost to help his wife and son grieve, he could still be back if his family did, she too, her comeback in the series.

Samia Nassri

“A bit of a strange start.” This is how Fabienne Carat considers the death of her character Samia, who died in a car accident in January 2021. This disappearance is perhaps THE straw that broke the camel's back for fans of the series who had great difficulty accepting the death of a character present since 2005 in the Mistral. Today, mother, Fabienne Carat has (unfortunately) definitively turned the page on Plus belle la vie, a series that she left before imploding. “I think it was an internal burnout. I felt a ball of fire inside me. As if suddenly we were suffocating and wanted to destroy everything”the actress recently explained.

Cesar Shoemaker

He was the one we loved to hate and we would have loved to be able to hate him a little more on TF1. During the last season of the series on France 3, the young man, played by Grant Lawrens, decides to blackmail Jacob with the aim of winning back Emma, with whom he has always been madly in love and who will soon make her return to the series. . But the kidnapper and his accomplice, Camille, decide to get rid of him by drowning him under a pile of rubble. One of the most violent deaths in Marseille fiction.
