Since Saturday October 12, 2024, the Star Academy has made its comeback on TF1. Among the fifteen academicians, Ebony, a young academician who was born into the world of Music since her father is a famous singer.
There are fifteen of them this year to try their luck and do everything to win. Saturday October 12, at 9:10 p.m. on TF1, the new students of the Star Academy made their grand entrance onto the Studio 217 set. But one of the candidates who has already made an impression, it’s Ebony, a young woman of 19 years oldfull of energy. With her endearing personality and her desire to succeed, she could quickly become one of this season’s favorites. The TF1 cameras closely followed her first steps, and the young artist has already made a strong impression on the public.
Future winner of the Star Academy?
In her portrait broadcast on France Bleu just before her arrival at the castle, Ebony looked back on her journey and the sacrifices she had to make to be there. “A year ago, I was studying musicology. […] I had managed to save money to attend a jazz music school. But finally, Star Ac’ fell on me”, she confided with a smile. She also admitted that she had tried her luck the previous two seasons without success. “I didn’t get a positive response… And this year, I didn’t try my luck again, but I was contacted on Instagram.” For Ebony, it is therefore an unexpected opportunity which allows her to live her dream today. Abandon your initial project to join a “even bigger school”, as she said, seems to excite her to the highest degree.
Ebony born in music
It’s no coincidence that Ebony is so comfortable in the music world. During her portrait broadcast in the first prime, she explained that this passion comes from her father, himself a singer. “Music came into my life because my father is a singer. He passed on this passion for music to me since I was very little. It’s my dream.” This is not just any artist: it is Thierry Cham, an emblematic figure of zouk, revealed with his hit Ocean in 2003. Also known for other titles like Sleepless Night, “Love at first sight” or even its resumption of She has gun eyes by Marc Lavoine, Thierry Cham left his mark on the West Indian music scene. Ebony has therefore been immersed in this musical universe since her childhood, and she seems determined to follow in her father’s footsteps.
