Alexia Laroche-Joubert sorts the false from the true in the series “Cult”

VTwenty-three years later, fiction takes over reality TV. The series Worship (first titled Trash), broadcast from October 18 on Prime Video, looks back at the genesis and behind the scenes of Loft Story, which, in 2001, swept away Dad’s TV in a few weeks by showing the daily life, all in all quite banal, of 12 candidates under 30 years old.

If, in front of the camera, the blonde Loana suddenly saw herself adorned with the cumbersome costume of the first French star of the RealTV, behind the scenes, young producers were doing well. Among them, Arthur, Stéphane Courbit and a young opportunistic project manager, Alexia Laroche-Joubert, today president and CEO of Banijay France, leader in French audiovisual production (28 Minutes, TPMP, Don’t forget the words, Koh-Lanta…).
