Tonight on : do you like the Bande à Fifi? This film is made for you: Cinema and series

Every day, AlloCiné recommends a film to (re)watch on . Tonight: a trip to Morocco with the Bande à Fifi!

In just a few months, the Bande à Fifi will celebrate its twenty years of existence. The opportunity for us to highlight this comedy by Reem Kherici, which also marks her debut as a director.

Released in theaters in 2013, at all costs tells the story of Maya, a Moroccan stylist who has lived in Paris for twenty years. While she is on the verge of breaking into this very popular environment, she encounters a major unexpected event: her residence permit has expired and the police send her back to her native country in less than 24 hours.

But upon her arrival in Morocco, she faced the shock of cultures and prejudices. No longer feeling at home here, she will do everything to return to Paris… really everything!

And the least we can say is that for her very first film production, Reem Kherici hit hard! His film enjoyed international success even before its release in , with distribution in more than fifty countries around the world.

A first film between friends

In addition to directing this comedy, Reem Kherici is also the heroine. At his side, an XXL cast: Cécile Cassel, Stéphane Rousseau, Shirley Bousquet, Alex Lutz, but also Lionnel Astier, François-Xavier Demaison, Florence Foresti, and Pascal Demolon.

And it doesn’t stop there, since several other names, including three very well known, appear at the top of the poster: Philippe Lacheau, Tarek Boudali and Julien Arruti, the faithful acolytes of Reem Kherici in the Bande à Fifi.

Because since 2005, this joyful troupe of friends has been making the general public laugh, both in cinema and on television, notably with the absurd game Chut Chut Chut!, adapted from a Japanese show.

The four share the screen in several cult comedies, such as 3 Days Max and 30 Days Max by Tarek Boudali, as well as Nicky Larson and the Scent of Cupid and Alibi.com 2 by Philippe Lacheau. An inseparable quartet!
