In tears, Marguerite (Star Academy 2024) confides in the difficulties of life in a community

Pierre Garnier, revelation of the last season who became a rising star of French song in eight months, was also present on set to ensure the passing of the torch to a class of students full of dreams and ambitions. Marguerite (Star Academy 2024), overwhelmed by the pace of the competition from the first day of the adventure

Despite the positive feedback from Marlène Schaff, promoted to professor of stage expression this year, the 23-year-old young woman revealed, once alone in the confessional, to feel slightly intimidated by the level of the competition. Then, the director announced a series of news to the academicians which upset some of them. Finally, Santa gave them a surprise by revealing the anthem for this 2024 edition. “Between the debrief, the anthem, the theme of the evaluations which falls, the day is intense and rich in emotions. I didn’t think I would manage like that…”clearly indicates Marguerite, miming a roller coaster with her arms. And to finally admit: “Deep down, I have trouble… But there, what’s difficult is that I feel like I’m less strong than others. I have a big drop in self-confidence.”

Marguerite and Ulysses (Star Academy 2024) talk about what bothers them about community life

The one who had already met the godmother of the show – at the gym – shared her thoughts with Ebony, who quickly gave her comfort. “Being in a parallel universe [fait que] I can’t find my place.”she explains to her friend. Marguerite also notes that other students have assimilated the hymn from the first listen, and that the rehearsals are somewhat noisy. Everyone is singing, walking along to each other’s phrases, and I know that it’s just fun, joy to sing. But I don’t know when I’ll be able to find my place in the song“, she confides in front of several other participants. Ulysses agrees with her on this last point since he slips to her aside: “I live alone all the time and It was one of my biggest fears about living in a community because I never did it. And it’s true that in the long run sometimes, [j’ai envie de dire] ‘Please team, shut up!’
