In the columns of Pocket TV This Friday, October 11, Aurore Delplace and Constantin Balsan made some revelations on this subject, discussing the future of their characters. While they wish to become parents, they must undergo in vitro fertilization. “The public will very quickly discover that all this will lead them to the brink of rupture” , said Aurore Delplace, thus causing doubt among viewers.
Will Yann and Johanna manage to overcome the difficulties encountered by this IVF? “Johanna dreams of a child with Yann but she keeps in the back of her mind the stress of having already lost one”confides Aurore Delplace. However, the journey is much more complicated than expected and, faced with the difficulties, it is in the arms of her ex Ludo that Johanna will find comfort. “I admit to being perplexed to see her, at that moment in her life, falling back into the arms of her ex”assures the actress who specifies that she would have imagined her character going to confide in Sabine, played by Gaëla Le Dévéhat.
Johanna and Yann: a couple soon to separate?
The two actors do not hide their surprise regarding the unfolding of this plot. “I too was surprised that at the first complication, she cheated on Yann”,
confides Constantin Balsan. However, the actor insists that, for the series, a bit of twists and turns were needed. “But we put ourselves in the position of the screenwriters, we have to spice up the stories.
And there, it was the way to tell a whirlwind, something that goes beyond them and forces them to ask themselves the right questions about their future” , he assured.
Will Yann and Johanna manage to put their love before everything else? As an actor, talking about an IVF journey is a real challenge. However, the two actors affirmed that they were delighted when they discovered that they were going to tackle this subject, despite the difficulties encountered by their characters. “With Constantin, we wanted to tackle this subject of motherhood and see them struggle, because that’s the lot of many couples,” says Aurore Delplace. For his part, Constantin Balsan assures that his character will be clumsy and it is something that he found very interesting to play.

For Aurore Delplace and Constantin Balsan, the filming took a different turn. Playing future parents who encounter difficulties is not always easy, but it was important for them that their characters evolve. “Since the beginning, I have helped Yann grow while maintaining a certain consistency,” confides the actor before adding: “We knew him to be taciturn and then more open, thanks to Johanna. I didn’t make him a solar character either but he can now allow himself phases where he is happy”.
For her part, Aurore Delplace drew on her own experiences to play these sometimes very complicated scenes. “I remember very clearly that the hormones left me exhausted. Before having Aaron, I had an abortion at 27 and then had a large ectopic followed by two miscarriages,” she confided. Traumatic experiences from which she had to recover. “But we should also not underestimate what men go through in this type of ordeal.
Kevin, my husband, was also distraught. He didn’t know what to do to help me.” , she concluded.
