TELEVISION – He had promised his teammates that he would go to the black ball. Unsurprisingly, the adventurer of Koh Lanta Gustin did not keep his word and sacrificed a member of his team at the council of ambassadors, which took place in the episode broadcast this Tuesday, October 1 on TF1.

This week the long-awaited reunification took place. The yellow and red teams first had to decide between themselves for a final comfort game. After two games of tic-tac-toe version Koh Lanta, the yellows won the chicken and fries. A relief since the team led by Frédéric had five defeats in a row.
Then it was time for the ambassadors. A candidate from each team chosen by the opponents takes part in this meeting. The two ambassadors then have two options: either they manage to agree on a person to eliminate (which means that an ambassador betrays his team), or both put their adventure on the line by drawing lots. Whoever draws the black ball leaves Koh Lanta for good.
Gustin has no desire to go to the black ball
This season, the yellows chose to send Gustin. The Swiss has already stood out for his lack of investment in the camp, his faltering mentality, and his constant desire to eat. “I’m sure he doesn’t go bowling. The only thing he wants is to move forward, he doesn’t care about others.” Jacques justified. The rest of his team followed him. The reds, for their part, decided to send Sophia from the yellow team, a hitherto rather discreet adventurer.
If in front of his teammates, the 26-year-old lifeguard affirmed that he would go as far as the black ball, the story was very different once installed alone in front of the cameras. “I would love to be an ambassador. At least I would be sure of my move. Personally I will not go to the black ball, because there are adventurers who deserve their place less than mine”he explains.
This is obviously not what he told the reds before leaving the camp, promising to fight and not eliminate any of them. In the first minutes of negotiations with Sophia, he began his bluff, claiming to have succeeded in his adventure and to have no regrets if he left. Sophia did not believe him and even humiliated him by reminding him of the raft test during which he had preferred to give up. A first in the history of the game. “Do you really think your loved ones are proud of you? (…) Fight! “, she insisted.
Emmanuelle eliminated
Their conversation continued until the arrival of presenter Denis Brogniart. Sophia insisted she wanted to go to the black ball, while Gustin backed out at the last second. Without even consulting his opponent who was imperious in this fool’s game, he gave the name of the person he wanted to eliminate: Emmanuelle. For viewers, some of whom are a bit joking, there is no surprise in this turnaround.
Sophia and Gustin then returned to their comrades now reunited under the white banner to announce to Emmanuelle that she was eliminated. From now on, only the white team exists.
