Audiences: For its finale, has “Brocéliande” with Nolwenn Leroy on TF1 retained the upper hand over “L’amour est dans le pré” with Karine Le Marchand on M6?

Monday evening, TF1 distinguished itself with the finale of “Brocéliande”. The last two episodes of the back-to-school saga, led by Nolwenn Leroy, Catherine Marchal, Arnaud Binard and Marie-Anne Chazel, kept us in suspense 4,58 millions of viewers on average between 9:14 p.m. and 11:12 p.m., i.e. 25,2% of the entire public aged four and over. On the target of women responsible for purchasing aged under 50 (FRDA-50), the market share also reached 25,2%. Last Monday, the two previous episodes had intrigued 4.43 million viewers on average (23.8% of the public and 24.6% of the FRDA-50).

Throughout the day, TF1, credited with audience shares of 20,9% for ages 4 and over and 21,0% on the FRDA-50, is racing in the lead, far ahead of his adversaries. 2, in small form, was followed yesterday by 13,1% of the public on average (7,4% FRDA-50). The public channel is ahead of M6 (10,2% 4+ and 16,3% of FRDA-50), which exceeds 10 audience share points thanks to the power of “L’amour est dans le pré”. France 3, weak, is far behind (7,6% 4+ and 1,6% FRDA-50). Fit, C8 (4,3%) completes the top 5. Followed, in order, France 5 (3,8%), TMC (3,3%), W9 (3,2%), until (2,9%) a 6ter (2,0%).

M6 takes second position with the continuation of season 19 of “L’amour est dans le pré”. Episode 7 of this Fremantle production, presented by Karine Le Marchand, captivated 3,69 millions of viewers between 9:13 p.m. and 9:55 p.m., i.e. 17,9% individuals aged 4 and over and 25,6% FRDA-50s. The second part, for its part, maintained the attention of 3.34 million viewers between 9:55 p.m. and 11:06 p.m., or 19.2% of the public and 25.3% of the FRDA-50. The last two parts of the historical saga with Nicolas Duvauchelle and Guillaume Gouix, both distinguished at the Fiction Festival, took us back in time to 1,67 million of viewers on average between 9:02 p.m. and 10:45 p.m., i.e. 8,6% of the public and 3,4% FRDA-50s. Last Monday, an average of 1.80 million viewers were convinced by the experience (8.9% of the public and 3.2% of the FRDA-50).

France 3 is behind with “For a Fistful of Dollars” (1964). Sergio Leone’s western starring Clint Eastwood was reviewed by 1,37 million of viewers between 9:04 p.m. and 10:41 p.m., which is equivalent to 7,0% of the public and 0,6% FRDA-50s. On Thursday January 12, 2023, the previous rebroadcast of the feature film accompanied the evening with 1.86 million viewers (9.7% of the public and 3.5% of the FRDA-50).

Full success for “Top Gun: Maverick” on W9 on 4+ and on targets

In another genre, “Commissioner Magellan” occupied the evening of 919.000 viewers between 9:21 p.m. and 11:01 p.m. on C8, i.e. 4,9% of the public and 0,7% FRDA-50s. On the cinema side again, “The Shallot Race” (1975), a comedy by Claude Zidi with Pierre Richard, Jane Birkin and Michel Aumont, amused 779.000 viewers between 8:57 p.m. and 10:33 p.m. on Arte, i.e. 3,9% of the public and 0,3% FRDA-50s.

France 5 follows, finally, with “Thalassa, extreme adventures”. Diego Buñuel and Nicolas Boero explored “The secret world of sperm whales” for the pleasure of 646.000 viewers between 9:07 p.m. and 10:01 p.m., i.e. 3,1% of the public and 1,1% FRDA-50s. The second issue, dedicated to “Polynesia, shark paradise”, attracted 573,000 viewers between 10:01 p.m. and 10:51 p.m. (3.2% of the public). On TMC, “Kingsman: Secret Service” (2014), by Matthew Vaughn and with Taron Egerton, Colin Firth and Samuel L. Jackson, won over 592.000 viewers between 9:29 p.m. and 11:39 p.m. (3,7% of the public and 6,6% FRDA-50).
