First broadcast on TF1 in 2001, Koh-Lanta has established itself over the years as one of the emblematic shows of the first channel. Since Tuesday, August 20, 2024, a new season of the game played by Denis Brogniart, called The Cursed Tribe, has been broadcast every week on the first channel. During the new episode scheduled for Tuesday, September 17, 2024 in prime time, the cursed tribe has officially been dissolved.
“Candidates will discover a great new feature: The Cursed Tribewhich will shake up everything they thought they knew about Koh-Lanta! They will have to do everything to avoid joining this terrible Cursed Tribe, which will jeopardize their own place in the adventure. The members of the Cursed Tribe will be doomed to a sad fate on a hostile island, on the fringes of the adventure… They will have to do everything to escape!“, TF1 had indicated in a press release.

“So the only option for them will be to find a white Anito hidden somewhere along the river that winds through this lost island. These statuettes represent protective spiritsborn from a combination of the forces of the ancestors and nature… So, who will manage to place themselves under the protection of the Anitos? Who will be able to surpass themselves to find a place in the adventure, and thus avoid theelimination ?“, the first channel then added.
After 12 days spent on the island of the cursed tribe, Melissa, Emmanuelle, Nathanaël and Vanessa were finally able to leave their camp, to try to join one of its two teams. Unfortunately, only two of them had the opportunity to join the yellows or the reds. The other two were definitively eliminated. It was during a test that the adventurers decided.

In the end, it was Mélissa and Emmanuelle who saved their place in the adventure, thus leading to the eliminations of Nathanaël and Vanessa.I am very very very frustrated! What I feared most has happened. Leaving the adventure without feeling like you were part of the adventure“, Nathanaël said after his elimination. Subsequently, Mélissa chose to go to the yellows. Consequently, Emmanuelle joined the red team. After losing the immunity test, the yellows went to the council.
A huge twist took place since the adventurer who collected the most votes was not eliminated. Indeed, Mélissa obtained six votes against her that were not counted by Denis Brogniart, given that she played the immunity necklace that she had obtained after her victory in the cursed tribe test. Consequently It was Michel who was eliminated with only three votes against him.
