The coaches fought until the end for young Israel during the last blind audition session of season 10, this Saturday, September 7.
Inspired by last year’s winner Durel, the middle schooler let his emotions speak through song with a cover of Billie Eilish.

The Voice Kids 2024
He, who watched the show, would never have imagined that he would find himself on the set one day. “Some people have told me that when I sing, it sounds a bit like Durel.”he slips. Israel seems to have every chance of taking over from the winner of “The Voice Kids” last year in Slimane’s team. A unique tone of voice, an inhabited interpretation and a pure treat for the ears of the viewers but especially of the coaches who savored his performance of “Lovely” by Billie Eilish until the last moment. All four of them turned around on the last note, causing a big fright in the 12-year-old teenager from Rosny-sous-Bois, in the Paris region. “I have a bit of a knot in my stomach”he said before his performance, terrified by the fear of forgetting the words or “miss a note”.

Slimane
“You were scared but we’re here! We’re naughty little things!”Patrick Fiori reassures him with a smile. Slimane immediately points out to Israel that “His low notes are of a hallucinatory beauty”. “You sing with a lot of respect and it moved me a lot. Continue to respect this art. We always say that music does not save lives but I am sure that it changes them in any case. You have this power, what you do is magical”he said to him, urging him to “don’t make the wrong choices” when selecting his team. So to put all the chances on his side, the singer of “Mon amour” uses his super block on Lara Fabian, who was in turn telling the schoolboy all the good things she thought of him.
“You were my brother in another life!”she says, falsely irritated, to her friend before admitting that she “understands it”. Claudio Capéo found Israel “wonderful” and detected “a form of prayer in his songs, something that takes us right to the heart”. “We feel your soul. I was soothed”he confides. Words that don’t really reassure Slimane. “If I had a second super block, I would have pressed it straight away!”he says in turn. Patrick Fiori is convinced that the teenager “will sing for a long time” and that they “will come to do his first parts”.

Israel eventually joins Slimane’s team but confesses that he was not his first choice when asked by Patrick Fiori. “Normally I wanted to take Lara Fabian…”he replies half-heartedly. His coach apologizes, Lara Fabian assures that he has “good job blocking it.” The same mishap happened to the Corsican singer last year, again facing the last French representative at Eurovision. “I guess I use them well!”the latter reacted about his super blocks which were very useful to him in putting together his dream team among the kids.
