David is moving into the apartment he has just rented when a young woman appears mysteriously and suddenly. Elizabeth claims that this accommodation is hers. David thinks, at first, that it is a misunderstanding while Elizabeth disappears as quickly as she appeared. It then begins to appear and disappear as it pleases and David is convinced that he is dealing with a ghost. He then decides to help her get to the “other side”, but Elizabeth is convinced that she is still alive.
