They make us angry and scream, and can sometimes even scare us. But they are so entertaining that, without them, our soap operas and series would not be the same. Here are 15 villains who spiced up the fall storylines.

Allan Craig (François Papineau), Weapons
Colonel Craig is a feared and respected soldier. He trains the best soldiers, those who form elite units. The army and the government, who need him, too often turn a blind eye to the methods he uses. Craig has always had free rein, but recently, Louis-Philippe Savard (Vincent-Guillaume Otis), who has taken charge of operations at Kanawata, is monitoring him closely.
Pierre-Henri Cazal (Laurent Lucas), Dumas
Owner of the Investcan firm, he is a competitor of Jean Dumas (Gildor Roy). Cazal has elastic morale and accepts mandates from crazy individuals. Luigi Amadeo (Christian de la Cortina), his associate, is undoubtedly even more devious and dangerous.
Paulin (Victor Andres Trelles Turgeon), The rebels

This dangerous criminal is involved in illegal worker trafficking. He uses them for his own gain and constantly reminds them that they owe him a debt. When the journalist Jacob Gravel-Duquette (Pier-Luc Funk) begins to take an interest in his affairs a little too closely and to ask too many questions, Paulin gives him a severe warning.
Cédric Laramée (Maxime de Cotret), Reasonable doubt
GICCS investigators encountered all kinds of criminals. We believed that Rémy Deblois (Pierre-Yves Cardinal) was one of the worst, but his friend Cédric Laramée is even more dangerous. It was he who ensured that Frédéric Masson (Marc-André Grondin) can never harm them again.
Harlow and Corinne (Martin Boily and Véronique Chaumont), Witches
Spouses have a plan in mind to become rich. They develop a scheme to get closer to Manon (Louise Laparé), which they hope to inherit. They try twice to put an end to Gaétane (Hélène Grégoire), Manon's friend, who also appears in her will.

Dr. Mathieu Jolicoeur (Ariel Ifergan), dog time
Dr. Jolicoeur is one of the reasons why Antoine Meilleur (François Bellefeuille) left Montreal to settle in the Magdalen Islands. After taking advantage of his rival's misfortune, Jolicoeur wants to make amends. His visit to the Islands unfortunately turns into a disaster and, through his fault, Antoine's electoral campaign goes off the rails. When Dr. Jolicoeur is around, it's never a good thing for Antoine.
Martha (Micheline Lanctôt), Raspberry time

Since the day she met Elisabeth (Sandrine Bisson/Marie-Ève Beauregard), Martha was harsh with her, criticizing her every decision. She even takes pleasure in rejoicing in her daughter-in-law's failures. We learn in the second season that Martha experienced the fact that John (Anthony Lemke) bequeathed the family home and his shares of the Conley Gardens to Elisabeth, and that this is partly where his resentment comes from.
Salvador (Gabriel Infante), Raspberry time
As soon as he arrives at Conley Gardens, Salvador gets involved in everything in the lives of foreign workers. He allows himself to comment on everything that happens, whether it concerns him or not. When he realizes that there is a special bond between the boss and Francisco (Edison Ruiz), he does it on purpose to enrage the latter. He even comes to blows with him, before filing a complaint. Salvador is unpleasant to everyone, and his work companions stay away from him.
The Consigliere (Yves Jacques), This is how I love you
Huguette Delisle (Marilyn Castonguay) meets the Consigliere, the worst villain of all, in the third season of the series. The individual warns her from their first meeting: he claims to be the devil incarnate, and his crimes tend to prove it.
Évelyne Larue (Anne-Julie Proulx/Marie-France Lambert), sleepless night

A respected minister and very involved in the feminist cause, Évelyne Larue is an ambitious woman, who had no qualms about taking questionable actions to get where she is. In the second season of sleepless nightwe return to the past, to the time when Évelyne was Flavio Carignan's assistant (Olivier Lamarche/Bruno Verdoni). She is the one who takes care of Marlène (Devi Julia Pelletier/Marilyse Bourke) when she began her career as a model. The young woman trusts him, but she shouldn't. Over the years, Évelyne becomes very close to the Hébert family and Aidrian Flanagan (Nico Racicot/Ron Lea). She gains their trust, but betrays them. She goes so far as to kill to avoid being unmasked.
Jacinthe Trudeau (Julie Du Page), Indefensible
Jacinthe calls upon the services of Léo Macdonald (Sébastien Delorme) when she learns that charges are against her. She herself has just filed a complaint for assault and claims to be a victim when that is completely false. She's as detestable as anyone, and Leo has a lot of work to do to keep his cool with her. He is delighted when she tells him that she has lost confidence in him and wants to represent herself.
Gabriel (Guy Nadon), Black Lake

Gabriel is a member of the International Werewolf Senate. He swindled his way into this position, and few people trust him. Following the events that occurred in Lac-Noir and the death of the two “hermits”, he returns to the village with the intention of cleaning up there. Gabriel has a personal goal and, to achieve it, he ignores all the rules. Eddy (Norman D'Amour), who gets in his way, pays dearly.
