This week, it’s the public who pulls the reins of Star Academy 2024. You will be able to rate the candidates’ evaluations and choose the songs for the next bonus. We explain everything to you.
The tenth bonus of Star Academy 2024, broadcast exceptionally on Friday December 13 due to the election of Miss France 2025, was marked by an unprecedented announcement from Michael Goldman. For the first time, the public will play a central role in the next academicians’ week and in the preparation of the bonus on December 21.
This tenth bonus put the spotlight on teachers, with tables of excellence which allowed the three best students of the week to shine in their discipline. Ebony, supervised by Malika, dazzled with a dance performance in a duo with Christophe Licata, Charles explored lyrical singing with Sofia Morgavi, and Franck mixed singing and theater under the direction of Hugues Hamelynck. The previous week, the nominees were Ulysse, Marine, Marguerite and Maïa. And the public chose not to save Maïa, for whom the Star Academy 2024 adventure therefore ended.

Star Academy 2024: an interactive week and a tailor-made bonus
In the last part of the show, Michael Goldman revealed the theme of the coming week: increased interactivity between academicians and the public. From the evaluations, viewers will be able to intervene. “The public will be asked to choose the songs they will sing (…) They will have the choice between several songs and it is they who will decide”, announced the director. But fan involvement doesn’t stop there. Indeed, for the first time in the history of Star Academythe public will act as teachers. Their rating ranking will even count towards 50% of the final grade.

“They will be able to rank the evaluations and their grade will count for 50% of their final grade,” said Michael Goldman, thus offering unprecedented power to viewers. Throughout the week, votes will be open on TF1+ and social networks to determine the main points of the December 21 bonus. Fans will be able to choose the solos, duets, songs, as well as the song that will be performed during the top 3 battle. “They will be able to choose who will do a big solo, which students will do a duet and on which song, as well as the song of the top 3 battle”, Michael Goldman said.

The top 3 and immunity at stake
The bonus on December 21 will also be an opportunity for the three best students to fight for immunity, a new feature for this 2024 season. Thanks to this immunity, the winner is guaranteed to stay two additional weeks at the Château de Dammarie- les-Lys. This week, Ebony, Charles and Franck competed in the battle on Hello of Adele. After an evaluation based on their tables of excellence and their performances during the battle, Ebony won the votes of the teachers and won her second immunity of the season.
