To see this weekend: “ Black Doves » (Netflix)
What if the model wife and mother of the Minister of Defense was a spy? What if on top of that, she led a double life on the sentimental side. With London and Christmas as a backdrop, “Black Doves”, a spy thriller in six episodes, created by Joe Barton, follows the life of Helen Webb, played Keira Knightley, who for ten years has been transmitting the files of her husband and father of their twins to a mysterious organization. The record mocks when she learns that her lover – a recent and passionate romance – has just been shot dead in the city, the same evening as two other people with whom he was in contact. Helen teams up with her old friend Sam, played by Ben Whishaw. Between action scenes and offbeat humor, the model wife, gun in hand and sometimes blood on her face, investigates the death of her beloved.
