The cast of “Friends” has only seen each other once in the 17 years since the show ended.
Lisa Kudrow, who played Phoebe Buffay alongside Courteney Cox, Jennifer Aniston, David Schwimmer, Matt LeBlanc and the late Matthew Perry, revealed that the group met for dinner a decade after ‘Friends’ ended in 2004 and that they had not been in the same room together before filming the special “Friends: the ” in 2021.
During an appearance on Jesse Tyler Ferguson’s ‘Dinner’s on Me’ podcast, she explained: “It was so good [l’émission spéciale, ndlr]. The six of us had only had dinner once since the series ended.”
Lisa added that the dinner took place around 10 years after Friends ended and explained: “It was like we hadn’t missed a beat. We ended up at someone’s house for dinner and we didn’t We didn’t waste a second.”
Even though the entire cast rarely reunited, Lisa remained close to Jennifer and Courteney over the years.
Jennifer herself has explained in the past that the trio is like a “family.”
As part of Variety’s Actors on Actors series, she said: “We see each other a lot. I FaceTimed Court last night for an hour, and Lisa and the boys, and we really – It’s a forever family.”
