One Piece season 2 will arrive in 2025

It’s confirmed! We predicted at the start of the school year that season 2 of One Piece would be released on Netflix at the end of 2025, and it turns out we were right. Vincent Regan, the British actor who plays the terrible Vice-Admiral of the Navy Garp, has confirmed when viewers will be able to discover the rest of Luffy’s adventures. During his visit to Vienna Comic-Con, the actor declared:

I’m coming back from South Africa. I filmed season 2, everything my character does in season 2 is filmed. I think they will finish filming [le reste] in about a month. So I think that the series will be ready before Christmas next year to be streamed on Netflix.

Given the success of its adaptation of the famous manga, Netflix is ​​not likely to stop there. Although a third and fourth season has not yet been officially confirmed by the streaming platform, Vincent Regan said that the sequel is already under construction. In addition, the Alabasta Arc, which is quite long, will obviously be told in two seasons:

I guess they will start filming season 3 very soonand I think what they’re doing is called the Alabasta Arc. I think it will take two seasons. […] From what I saw of the plans and drawings when I was there, there were some really fun things being shot at that time.
