Charlotte Gaccio (Astrid and Raphaëlle) talks about her arrival in this Friday, December 6, 2024 episode of the France 2 series

Friday December 6, 2024, 2 offers a new new episode ofAstrid and Raphaëlle. Titled Loup and is-you?this adventure allows us to meet a new character: Delphine Simon, a criminologist dispatched to lend a hand in this thorny investigation to Raphaëlle, who obviously does not view this support very favorably. From the month to departure. A very sympathetic character played by the no less sympathetic Charlotte Gaccio, who confided in Tele-Leisure about this new role.

Astrid and Raphaëlle : Charlotte Gaccio confides her difficulties regarding her role

Télé-Loisirs. You land in Astrid and Raphaëlle in the shoes of Delphine Simon, a very friendly criminologist. What attracted you to her?
Charlotte Gaccio.
It's a character quite far from those I've played so far. With responses that are not always easy. It was sometimes a bit of a hassle, but I'm very happy to have tried to do something else.
Why do you say it was “a bit of a hassle”?
I worked on my text a lot, a lot, it was hard. [Elle rit.] There were a lot of convoluted words, especially in this famous scene at the police station where my character summarizes the situation in front of everyone. This text made me panic.
This Delphine Simon, she never makes a spelling mistake but she’s messy…
Yes, it's a mess in her life with her four children, but it's not a mess in her work, nor in her head. Lucky for her! [Elle rit.] It was funny this contrast that we wanted to bring to the messy side, and at the same time, once she is at work, she uses complicated words. As far as I'm concerned, I have a little Delphine Simon side: I'm very, very messy and I don't make any spelling mistakes either. [Elle rit.]

Astrid and Raphaëlle : Charlotte Gaccio found her friend Lola Dewar

Were you watching the series before participating in it?
I must admit that no, but I obviously knew the program and its success, which goes beyond our borders.
Not too hard to adapt to the game of Sara Mortensen, whose character – Astrid – never looks anyone in the eyes?
As my character manages to coax Astrid, there was something quite sweet that happened between us.
And with Lola Dewaere?
With Lola, it was a reunion because we had filmed together on Damn then 2. It was nice to find a friend again. Like David Ferrier, the director of four episodes, with whom I had worked on Interventions [une série de TF1 avec Anthony Delon diffusée en 2014, ndlr]. So, I didn't feel at home because it's someone else's. [elle rit] but I was very well received.
Criminologist in Astrid and Raphaëlle, documentalist in Sam, waitress in Tomorrow belongs to us, policeman in Murders in Arbois… Of all the fiction jobs you have done, which would you have liked to do?
I would not have been able to teach because it is a priesthood. I really applaud those who get there and have the patience to do it. Profiler, it sounds interesting but you have to do a lot of studying and I wasn't cut out for school. [Elle rit.] Maybe midwife as in Interventions but it's the same, there are too many studies. I am made to do jobs that require studies, which is not me at all. Waitress in the end maybe I'll get there, you still have to be clever. [Elle rit.] It's great because it allows me to try everything without having to do the studies that go with it.

Charlotte Gaccio, soon to be cast in a fiction with her mother, Michèle Bernier? She answers

And what about the fiction projects with your mother, Michèle Bernier? At the time of Murders in Arbois, you said there was some but you didn't know where it was…
I still don't know! [Elle rit.] It takes a long time for projects to be born. The people in whose hands it is keeping me informed of progress but for the moment, it's status quo.
What about the next season of Samthe TF1 series in which you play Aurélie Schnek…
It is filmed, we are waiting for the broadcast date. I think it's going to be a particularly funny season. we all had a lot of fun, we really laughed a lot.
