“It’s awful”, Christian Clavier upset by a comparison with François Hollande

While he will be starring in Jamais sans mon psy on December 11, Christian Clavier was one of the guests of C to you this Thursday, December 5. The opportunity for Mohamed Bouhafsi to compare him to a certain François Hollande, which did not please the actor so much.

“Did you use Shazam?” An essential actor of comic cinema in and member of the Splendid troupe, Christian Clavier plays opposite Baptiste Lecaplain and Claire Chust in Never without my therapista comedy which will be released on December 11 in cinemas. The star actor Tanned embodies Olivier Béranger, a psychologist who helps many patients every day. Unfortunately, there is one whose neuroses he cannot cure: Damien. He then makes him believe that to heal he must find true love. The specialist is then far from suspecting that his daughter Chloé could be Damien’s great love…

Present on the set of C à vous this Thursday, December 5, Christian Clavier was treated to an astonishing comparison with François Hollande. Indeed, Mohamed Bouhafsi and Anne-Élisabeth Lemoine pointed out to him that he was “le sosie vocal” of the former President of the Republic. A comparison which does not seem to have convinced on the set, in particular the main interested party who lingered on a photo of the politician shown on the set. “No, but frankly, I don’t look like that”launched Christian Clavier bluntly. And to add: “It’s full of spots, it’s awful!”

Could François Hollande have been part of the Splendid troupe?

A remark which greatly amused Baptiste Lecaplain, while Mohamed Bouhafsi pointed out that Christian Clavier and François Hollande were at high school together. “We weren’t in the same class. We did a bit of Sciences Po, […] but he was younger, so we never went to high school together”specified the actor, who also assured that the former president would never have been part of the Splendid troupe. “But he still has a great sense of humor!”exclaimed the journalist, to which Christian Clavier responded with “oui” unconvinced. “Hint: When the answers are short, you have to change the subject”deciphered Baptiste Lecaplain. And for good reason, the star of Visitors does not really hold François Hollande in his heart, he who is close to Nicolas Sarkozy, and even supported his candidacy in 2007 and then in 2012.
