TVA announced this morning some details on the next season of Star Academyincluding members of the Artistic Academy, who will create magic on our TVs on Sunday evenings.

For the first time this year, the House of Academicians will be located on the street, in the heart of Montreal: “Its location in the heart of the city will offer future Academicians a breathtaking view, but also direct access to the excitement of the Montreal art scene! The development work has already begun in order to make it an inspiring, modern and warm living space for the new crop of candidates,” we can read in a press release.
Remember that this season, Garou will be the director of the Academy, Lara Fabian will be the godmother, Véronic DiCaire, the singing teacher, Pierre Lapointe, the music teacher and Émily Bégin, the sports and dance teacher.
If the identity of the young participants remains to be discovered, we finally know who will be the members of the artistic team with whom they will create our memorable Sundays:
Antoine Gratton – musical director

True showmanAntoine has to his credit five albums, arrangements for symphony orchestras and the creation of soundtracks for several films. Antoine’s fame is well established and the Star Académie team is happy to reconnect with him!
Joël Legendre – director of Sunday Variety
A talented artist, Joël Legendre excels as an actor, host and director. Since his beginnings twenty years ago, Joël has directed more than thirty productions. It is therefore with great joy that we welcome him as director of the Variété de Star Academy
Marie-Eve Riverin – vocal director
Marie-Eve’s journey takes shape between her career as a singer and her role as a vocal coach. On stage, she shines as a backing vocalist for Lara Fabian and Ginette Reno. Her talent has taken her to the four corners of the world. Voice director for iconic television projects, including Star Academy et The VoiceMarie-Eve’s know-how is unique and she allows young singers to shine like never before!
Maud Saint-Germain – choreographer
Dancer-singer-actress, Maud has performed in several musical comedies. For twenty years, Maud has acted as choreographer and head choreographer for numerous major Quebec productions. Passionate and versatile, she signs the choreographies of many shows and it is with great enthusiasm that she joins the artistic team of Star Academy.
And it’s on the show On the way to Star Academy that we will finally be able to know who the next Academicians will be.
On the way to Star Academy from January 13 to 16, at 7:30 p.m., on TVA and TVA+.
The first Variété show will take place on Sunday January 19 at 7 p.m., on TVA and TVA+.
The daily will be broadcast from Monday to Thursday at 7:30 p.m., from January 20, on TVA and TVA+.
