I thought it was advertising until the day the people in charge of the show left me a message. I thought it was a joke. To find out for sure and having nothing to lose, I contacted them and a few days later, I went to Paris to do tests. I even had the right to a psychologist. He confirmed that I'm not crazy! That was already it! »

“I was insulted three times by women”

When the selection of the contenders was announced, Gilou was presented by the host, Karine Lemarchandlike the phenomenon of the 2024 edition.

“Everywhere I go, there are always people who want to take selfies or chat with me. It's nice to be in contact with people. »

Gilou also suffered some criticism. “I was even insulted three times by women who judged me for my language. I've always been like that. And you shouldn't always take what I say literally. I like to joke and make others laugh. It's in my nature. »

To choose is to give up

Gilou, we like him or we don't like him. He is one of those people who has charisma. And his personality charmed the entire team of the show and several contenders.

“Unfortunately, it’s very difficult to choose. We only have ten minutes of presentation. It's too short to discover the other. We cling to a part of a sentence, a smile, an attitude. And physically of course. I based myself mainly on this last criterion to select Isabelle and Marie. They came to my house. And we still had to make a choice to keep only one. It's difficult to tell someone to pack their suitcase… Even if I had good chemistry with Isabelle, I chose Marie to continue the adventure. Isabelle had a strong character. I could see that living together could be complicated. Marie had personality too, but was softer and that's why I chose her. »

Carnal night without blue pills

Fans of the show understood that Gilou and Marie spent at least one carnal night together.

So Gilou, how did this famous hot night go? “I concluded with Marie,” confides the charmer from Rouez, as proud as a rooster. And Gilou continues: “No, I don’t regret anything… I will keep sensational memories of this show and I'm happy to have friends during the show and to have represented Rouez and Sarthe. I'm very happy for my friend Renaud, from Torcé-Viviers-en-Charnie, who found a campaign during this year's Amour est dans le Pré. As a reminder, he came to take part in the filming at my house and we ended up signing him up. We did well to encourage! »
