Fans of Reacher on Prime Video are still waiting for season 3 and even its spin-off which should see the light of day soon. But to wait, they can enjoy another equally good spy series with The Old Man by Alan Ritchson and with Jeff Bridges, season 2 of which was recently released online on Disney+/
The series is based on the novels by author Thomas Perry and revolves around Dan Chase (Jeff Bridges), a retired CIA agent who has been in hiding for a long time. When he falls into an unexpected ambush by a professional assassin early in the story, he must call on his old skills to deal with it.
A series with an almost perfect score
In season 2 of The Old ManDan and former FBI Director Harper (John Lithgow) attempt to free kidnapped Emily Chase (Alia Shawkat) from the clutches of Afghan tribal leader Faraz Hamzad (Navid Negahban). The official synopsis is as follows: while the three men claim that she is their daughter, Emily finds herself in an identity crisis that has serious consequences.
The first season of The Old Man surpassed Reacher. On Rotten Tomatoes, critics gave Jeff Bridges' series a 97%, while Alan Ritchson's series scored 92%. However, when averaged with viewer ratings, Prime Video's series ranks higher with an overall score of 95%. That of Disney+ obtains 80%.

Season 2 of the spy series The Old Man has been available on Disney+ since November 6 and has 15 episodes. You now know what to watch while waiting for season 3 of Reacher, which should see the big return of a cult character.
