For several weeks, in STAT, we have noticed that Steve (Marc Beaupré) does not seem to be in very good shape.
He is not very courteous with his colleagues, and even with patients. He also refused to consult his psychiatrist when the latter contacted him. We will remember that Steve suffers from bipolar disorder.
If he was absent from the hospital for a while, we see, in the synopses of the next episodes, that he will be at the heart of the intrigues until the holiday break. In particular, he will have to operate on a man injured in a park. The case of this patient will also present a particular challenge for the surgeon.
We also learn that his psychological situation will not improve. During the last week on the air before the holiday break, Isabelle (Geneviève Schmidt), who will be feeling better, will replace Steve at short notice. Then, in the last episode, the doctor will be at his lowest. He will ask Delphine (Virginie Ranger-Beauregard) to come and meet him at his home.
What will happen with the surgeon? Is Marie-Andrée Labbé preparing a turnaround for us in connection with this favorite character?
We sincerely hope that the doctor gets the help he needs, and quickly.
Let us point out that another intrigue which will stretch until Christmas concerns the delusional fixation that Anthony (Philippe Thibault-Denis) has towards Vicky (Laurence Latreille). In the last episode, Isabelle will again ask for help from Philippe (Patrick Labbé).
Recall that the mid-season finale of STAT will air on December 12 at 7 p.m..
