Will Victoire find her first love?
Victoire frames a photograph taken at the Christmas market with Samuel and Aaron. Soraya remembers with a certain melancholy that her own family used to do the same every year. It is at this moment that Victoire remembers that she has a very special commitment to honor during these end-of-year holidays. More than fifteen years ago, she and her first great love, Fred Lecomte, had promised to meet at the Sète Christmas market in 2024. The agreed date is this Friday. However, the young woman does not intend to go to this meeting. She thinks Fred won’t be there. Soraya tries hard to convince her to change her mind. At the end of the day, Victoire opens her memory box and shows Soraya the photo of her first love…
Karma catches up with Victor
At the Christmas market, Bastien and Violette gather their courage and approach Victor Brunet. They explain to him that they inquired at the town hall. There was a bug in the distribution of the stands and they therefore have the same. Victor refuses to share the stand, so that they can sell second-hand clothes and toys. He believes that it is not of his standing. The two teenagers are dismayed. They come across Alex who notices their dejected look. Alex offers them to share his stand. Bruno also offers to lend them Christmas decorations to beautify their space. Violette wonders if Alex and Bruno are not only helping them out of charity, but also to spite Brunet. In any case, the association’s stand is enjoying some success.
Night has fallen on Sète. Victor’s stand is deserted unlike that of the Little Spoon. Timothy joins his father who is disappointed. He thought sales were taking off since he started selling mulled wine and oysters. The young man points out that Alex had a better idea by sharing his stand with the charity’s vendors. Then, Timothée goes to drink mulled wine at Little Spoon which he judges to be better than the one sold by his father.
Michel Prado is dead and Zack is in critical condition!
Simon is at Raphaëlle’s. He informs Martin and his companion of his recent discovery. The day before, at Spoon, Zack left his phone in front of him and received a notification about an update to an encrypted geolocation application, identical to the one found on Michel Prado’s phone. For Simon, this cannot be a coincidence, and he suggests that Martin summon Zack for questioning. The lawyer then denies making it a personal matter. Camille overhears their discussion and confronts Simon. She thinks he is not coping well with their breakup. Simon acknowledges that this is the case, but insists that his feelings towards Zack are not related to the current situation. It’s certain that Zack is acting suspiciously. Then, he tells Camille that he knows full well that there is no chance of them getting back together and that she cannot stop him from wanting to protect her.
At the police station, Martin questions Zack. The latter admits to having a geolocation application on his phone. He explains that he uses it to track his scooter, to know where it is if it is forgotten or stolen. Martin then asks him where he was on November 21. Zack replies that he was at the movies. An alibi confirmed by the cashier who remembers him. Plus, Zack kept his movie ticket. Martin then receives a call from Nordine, informing him that a body has been discovered on a construction site.
Zack, for his part, finds Camille at the Spoon after her interrogation. The young woman informs him that he was summoned because Simon is convinced that he is involved in the affair concerning his grandfather. She adds that the attacker used the same application as hers. Zack pretends to be amazed. Camille places her hand on his to reassure him, and affirms that she believes he is innocent.
Martin goes to the construction site where the lifeless body of Michel Prado was discovered. In his eyes, it is undeniably murder. Martin believes the killer did not have a vehicle and transported the body to hide it in the dumpster. He asks his son to reinforce the teams and search the area in order to locate the place where the crime was committed. Not far from there, Agnès Prado, informed, is in tears. She remembers that at one time, Michel was not such a terrible man. Raphaëlle tries to console her, while Maud, present, is touched by Agnès’ pain.
Back at the police station, Damien informs Martin and Karim that he found ropes, but also traces of powder and blood in the disused building in which Sébastien and Prado were held captive. He specifies that it is the same weapon which was used to kill Prado and injured Sébastien Perraud.
Not far away, Zack convinces Camille to take a bike ride. He takes advantage of her absence to go get her water bottle in order to tamper with the brakes on her bike! A few hours later, Zack is admitted to the emergency room following an accident. His condition is critical. Zack is taken care of by Aaron. Upset, Camille begs the surgeon to save him.
