The six-time Olympic swimming medalist will take to the floor of the fourteenth edition of the major TF1 dance competition.
He overcame all the obstacles, met all the challenges, won all the medals. But when you like challenges, it is often very difficult to resist the one that involves venturing into much less known territory. Brief, Florent Manaudou several times world swimming champion, triple, quadruple, quintuple medalist at the Olympic Games, is preparing to embark on one of the most famous TF1 competitions.
The channel announces that the young man has agreed to join the cast of the next “Dancing with the Stars”. He is even the very first candidate of this new season, the fourteenth, presented as usual by Camille Combal and broadcast in early 2025, probably in February. Who will be his coach? Against whom is he embarking in this passo doble of television entertainment? We still don't know.

First name revealed
What we do know, however, is that the athlete has obvious charm, that TF1 is riding very skillfully on the success of the last Olympics and that he joins the slew of very high-level athletes who have attempted the adventure before him, including David Ginola, Nathalie Péchalat, Basile Boli, Vincent Moscato, Laura Flessel and Philippe Candeloro.
Remember that season 13 of the program, punctuated by noisy and unnecessary clashes between comedian and actress Ines Reg and Quebec singer Natasha St-Pier, ended with the sparkling victory of the latter and her coach Anthony Colette. In total, 12 stars, including 8 women and 4 men, competed for the title of “DALS” champion.
We can bet that the casting for the 2025 edition will be at least as impactful as the previous one. Extra good manners, at the very least.
