Now that the comedy series Discussions avec mes parents is over, we thought we could reconnect with actor Vincent Bilodeau, who played Jean-Pierre Morency, thanks to his new TV project.
The trailer confirms that we won’t have time to get attached again…
Indeed, TVA today revealed the trailer for the new Passez au salon, a series in which Vincent Bilodeau makes a brief appearance.
See the trailer below.
These first images are really promising!
In the series, the Ostiguy family has owned the only funeral home in their small native village for three generations and whose succession turns out to be… more complicated than expected. Following an event that will disrupt everyone’s daily lives, Paulette, a septuagenarian matriarch, as loving as she is controlling, must postpone her sunny retirement in Pompano Beach, to the great despair of her lover Raynald, time to make her two sons of drinking undertakers. The first son, Daniel, a true virtuoso of the remains, according to him, would like to be alone in charge, but he does not have the social skills to do so. And the second son, Luc, a former professional hockey player now ruined, depressed and heavily in debt, has the required charisma, but has no desire for it. They will be surrounded by Estelle, the esoteric florist and Daniel’s unacknowledged flame, and Camille, the highly motivated thanatology trainee.
In this comic project, you will find the actors Jean-Michel Anctil and Louis-Philippe Dandenault, who share the spotlight in addition to having imagined the series, with Maxime Caron. They are accompanied by Roger Léger, Chantal Baril, Émi Chicoine and several other actors.
The Passez au salon series will be presented to viewers starting Wednesday, January 8 on TVA and on TVA+.
