Florent Manaudou no longer stops. After winning two bronze medals at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, in the 50m freestyle and in the men’s 4x100m medley relay, then taking up handball to perfect his physical condition, the Frenchman will discover a new discipline: dance. As TF1 announced this Thursday, the Olympic champion is in the casting of the new season of “Dancing with the Stars”, which will be broadcast on the first French channel.
The other candidates are not yet known. After a thirteenth season disrupted by the altercation between Natasha St-Pier and Inès Reg, broadcast from February 16 to April 26, 2024, TF1 has formalized a fourteenth season scheduled for early 2025. The revelation of the identity of the participants therefore begins with that of Florent Manaudou, a high-sounding name which should attract many spectators.
Flag bearer of the French delegation during the opening ceremony, alongside athlete Mélina Robert-Michon, Florent Manaudou had marked the spectators with his smile and his little hearts addressed to the public when he entered the pool. He now has six Olympic medals: one gold, three silver and two bronze.
