Season 13 of the musical telecrochet produced by ITV Studios France for TF1 is getting a second lease of life with several new features and the promise of discovering new vocal gems.
““The Voice” is making its revolution”launched Rémi Faure on Wednesday morning during the press conference organized in the Lendit studio buildings, in La Plaine Saint-Denis. The director of streaming programs for the TF1 group set the tone. Thirteen years after its launch, « The Voice » is today one of the oldest musical telecrochets in France. As its producer, Matthieu Grelier, says so well, the show is proud of its age and accepts the stigma of time.
For season 13, “The Voice” has its teenage crisis with a very different formula from the previous ones. First of all, the coaches, still comfortably seated in their big red chairs, have two new players in their ranks: Patricia Kaas et Zaz. By their side, Florent Pagny made his comeback after suggesting that the beautiful page of “The Voice” was definitively turned. And Vianney continues the experiment.

New button for “The Voice” blind auditions
At the start of 2025, TF1 viewers will discover the new setting in which the vocal gems unearthed by the teams of Bruno Berberes came to try their luck. A magnificent, very bright stage, full of technology, in the shape of a circular arena where the orchestra was installed below the stage, as close as possible to the artists.
And if the fundamentals remain like the essential and much appreciated stage of the blind auditions, the formula of this season 13 of “The Voice” has been considerably modified. During this first phase where each coach will have to compose a team of sixteen talents, the super block is renewed. Thanks to this diabolical tool, Patricia Kaas, Vianney, Zaz and Florent Pagny will be able – on two occasions – to block one of their seatmates at will to increase their chances of recovering a coveted talent.
On their dashboard, a new button has been added: the second chance button. Each coach will be able, once each, to activate it for a talent that was not selected during the blind auditions. The lucky winners will have the chance to retake their blind audition later, with the advice given by the coaches after their first attempt.
A new stage inspired by the great battles of “La Voz” in Spain
What’s next? For the first time, the production introduces a group phase, inspired by the Spanish version of “The Voice” but more elaborate. During this, each coach will set up ensembles of three, four, five or six talents in the form of musical scenes with staging and decorations. At the end of this stage, only six candidates per team will be qualified. The battles will follow, the last recorded phase, which will halve the numbers before the direct action: semi-final and final.
The start of broadcasting of season 13 of “The Voice” is expected in early 2025 on TF1 with Nikos Aliagas hosting.
