This nineteenth season of Love is in the meadow introduced many endearing farmers. Among them, Pascal, a 59-year-old cattle and sheep breeder who had, until now, only known one love story. And things started out pretty bad for him. During the first phase of the show, he only received two letters, but still remained hopeful. And he was right: at speed dating, love at first sight with Murielle happened. Fortunately for him, the suitor relaxed and, in the last days of the week, a beautiful love story was emerging. However, during episode 14, after several weeks of seeing each other on weekends, Murielle came to Pascal to break up, reproaching him for his hygiene and especially the fact that he did not pay attention to her.

It is therefore alone that Pascal presents himself against Karine Le Marchand in the second part of the report. During their exchange, they return to the disillusionment of the breeder who thought he had found love but above all to the behavior of his suitor. “When we go to someone’s house we don’t criticize everything they are, that’s not possible”says the host before giving Murielle’s reaction to her images: “She saw herself on television, she called production to say ‘I didn’t know I was like that.’ She took the brunt of his temper and made her mea culpa.” If what’s done is done, Pascal confides that the breakup was difficult for him: “It was very hard, these were problems that could have been resolved.” A feeling of unfinished business for the breeder who finds that the arguments given by Murielle were unfounded.
