Ugo will not compete in the orienteering event this year. After Cassandra's departure, the adventurers of Koh-Lanta : The cursed tribe competed against each other in a comfort test, the reward of which was a special moment with a loved one. At the end of the famous obstacle course with bags weighing several kilos, it was Thibault who was able to enjoy a moment with his brother. After a disastrous night at the camp due to torrential rains, the seven remaining candidates competed in their final immunity test at the end of which Sophia was eliminated. Ilyesse being immune, Ugo and Cécile quickly realized that their place was in danger. During the council, all the adventurers, including Cécile, chose to oust the former captain of the reds.

Faced with detractors who accused her of treason, Cécile decided to clarify her decision to eliminate the winner of Koh-Lanta: Malaysia. “Many see it as a betrayal on my part, or even a lack of consideration for my former team captain. I first want to answer myself with a question: why not vote for Ugo? At this level – that's the adventure, Ugo and the other adventurers are all as deserving as each other and if they have gotten this far, chance has nothing to do with it… For a while now for me, there have been no more colors that guide my choices and I said it well just before the comfort test of linked destinies“she justified herself, specifying that she had informed Ugo of her decision to vote against him. “We both knew that the yellow alliance was strong and that the elimination was going to be between him and me. At that moment, we inform each other that we will vote against each other, and for him with his double vote. It couldn't be any clearer, there were no promises, no lies.”

The adventurer continued her diatribe by reminding fans of the program that the former captain of the reds had voted twice against her during the council. “SO, you can't blame me for eliminating 'someone who always wanted to protect me'. Because Ugo, let's be honest, is very strong in the direction he has already taken, and has the advantage of knowing how to approach it.
