This Friday, November 22, during the live Star Academy broadcast on TF1+, Marlène Schaff gave a stage expression course to the three nominated students. The opportunity for Masseo to confide in a method that he uses to evoke emotion, but that the professor does not find that effective.
On October 12, TF1 kicked off the new season of Star Academy with a bonus which allowed viewers to get to know the 15 new casting candidates. As the weeks went by, some of them left the adventure for good, eliminated after not being saved by the public or by the students. This week, new evaluations punctuated life at the Château de Dammarie-les-Lys, at the end of which three candidates were nominated, namely Masseo, Maïa and Ulysse. This Saturday, November 23, a special bonus awaits the academicians. Indeed, former candidates from the show from all seasons will be present to sing with the students, but also to pay tribute to Grégory Lemarchal, 20 years after his participation in the telecrochet that he won in December 2004.
Star Academy : Marlène Schaff not a fan of a method that Masseo uses to manage his emotions
This Friday, November 22, during the live Star Academy broadcast on TF1+, Marlène Schaff found the three nominees of the week, the others having left the castle for prime rehearsals. The stage expression teacher coached Masseowho confided in a technique he uses to be in the most total emotion. “When I sing, I try to only think about that, I don't even think about what I'm doing vocally, it goes up, but it doesn't go up fast enough in fact“, he told her. Marlène Schaff knows this method of theater well. “Rather than looking within ourselves for experiences that we may not have had, if we have acted out pain, we will imagine a moment when we felt pain, the example that you have just given. The problem with that is that it's not related to us, you really have to go and hurt yourself because the image you have in your head is hard, it's super hot (… ) So yes, you will feel pain, but it's hot“, she replied.
“I prefer to seek within myself something that I have really experienced, myself“
Marlène Schaff used this method, but today she no longer uses it. She explained to Masseo why. “It made me go into things that I no longer controlled very, very well, so I prefer to look for something in myself that I really have.lived or used tricks, but I'm not going to look too much for personal dramas that have nothing to do with putting me in there“, she testified. According to her, this technique remains “valid”, if and only if we know how to use it.
