“Nature comes back at a gallop”
Pascal’s answers did not convince Murielle. “I no longer want it. I wanted a new life and to be taken care of.” Then she admits, fatalistically: “That won’t change. Nature is coming back at a gallop. Not at our ages.”
In front of the camera, Pascal admits to being disappointed. “It saddens me. I feel sad, I had hope but the hope is gone.” Getting up from her chair in the farmer’s kitchen, Murielle says to Pascal: “I’m going to continue my little life. All alone with my cats.” The farmer then reminded her not to forget the slippers she had left at his house.

Facing the camera, Murielle assures that “the door is closed” but not with a key. Will she change her mind and call Pascal back? The answer will be known in the review of “L’amour est dans le pré” the next two Mondays.
