Following a “poor audience performance”, and despite a large fan base, NCIS will be urgently deprogrammed from the W9 schedule, starting this Sunday, November 17.
Even the most popular series can have disappointments. Indeed, W9 tells us this Friday, November 15 that it is stopping the broadcast of NCISwhich it has been offering since November 3 on Sundays from 12:50 p.m. with four episodes per session. And this deprogramming is being done urgently, since it will be effective from this Sunday, November 17, 2024. The reason? More than complicated hearings.
Deprogramming: NCIS urgently arrested on W9 following a “poor audience performance”
“Over the last two weeks, the average market share of NCIS was, on the FRDA 15-49 target [les femmes responsables des achats de moins de 50 ans, ndlr]by 0.8%” writes M6's little sister in a press release, “which corresponds to a decrease of 64% compared to the box average over the previous 4 Sundays. This poor audience performance leads W9 to modify its programming from Sunday November 17, 2024 by replacing episodes of the series NCIS with episodes of the series Malcom.
Deprogramming: Malcom replaces NCIS on W9 from Sunday November 17, 2024
Thus, this Sunday, November 17, viewers will (re)discover the adventures of Malcom (Frankie Muniz), Loïs (Jane Kaczmarek, whose French voice was provided by Marion Game), Hal (Bryan Cranston), Francis (Christopher Masterson ), Reese (Justin Berfield) and Dewey (Erik Per Sullivan). And this, from the first episode of season 2, Traffic Jam. No less than eight episodes in a row will be offered from 12:50 p.m. until 4:10 p.m. Rebelotte the following week, since on November 24, W9 will broadcast from 12:50 p.m. episodes 5 to 12 of the second season of the cult series.
