This Tuesday, viewers were treated to the shocking premise of a new plot in Heart Beating. Far from slowing down, a few episodes before the conclusion of the series, the author Danielle Trottier continues to offer us realistic stories, which scar our hearts a little each time.
Now, it’s the story of an elderly couple losing their independence, who did not receive help in time, leading to the unforgivable.

Obviously, the son will be completely disturbed by the act that his father has just committed, who is clearly no longer in his right mind. Start of dementia or Alzheimer’s?
This is a situation which is reminiscent of a sad reality for certain elderly people, victims of abandonment by their family or by the system.
