Sébastien Benoit and the entire team of Masked singers had a whole evening in store for us on Sunday evening on TVA and a notable character has officially left the competition. Then, the talented Marie-Ève Janvier came to surprise viewers in La Belle Province with a mind-blowing performance!
In the last hours, the Rhinothe Swan et Miss Corn clashed on the stage of Masquerade Singers and it was the latter who was shown the exit door.
Miss Corn was the most striking character of the 4th season and it is the great Martine St-Clair which was under the costume.
However, the big surprise of this episode was undoubtedly when the mysterious Jack Spi-rat surprised everyone by revealing a clue that was hidden in his treasure chest.
The clue in question? Marie-Ève Janvier! The singer came out of the vault and delivered a mind-blowing performance by reprising the success Changer in duet with the Swan.
We do not know who is currently under the Swanbut several signs lead us to believe that it is Luce Dufault.
The clue reveals that there is a connection between the two.
You can watch the performance below:
The song Changer had been a huge success since its appearance in 2003. We could hear Marie-Ève in the company of the man who is now her long-time partner, the excellent Jean-François Breau. A piece taken from the play Don Juan.
Marie-Ève Janvier’s incredible performance quickly made investigating judge Mélissa Bédard break down, who could not hold back her tears.
Mélissa even said that it was one of the most beautiful performances she had seen in her life.
What is the link between Marie-Ève and the Swan according to you? Well done Marie-Ève!
