At the end of his strength was a mix of game and reality TV, hosted by ex windsurfing champion Nathalie Simon. This game was broadcast once and only once on M6, in November 2003, and was canceled immediately after its first broadcast.

“My last chance”

Marc Daviaud was there. With his wife Christine, who died in 2010. He even won the show and pocketed the sum of Originally from Vendée, he has been looking for a copy of the show for two years. “You are my last chance,” he emphasizes. He has already taken numerous steps, with friends in the media, with the INA, with M6… In vain. He wrote to Jean-Luc Reichmann and Julien Courbet but did not receive a response.

Passionate about game shows

He would like to give a copy of this show to his children for Christmas. Christine, his wife, who participated with him in the show, died suddenly a few years later. And her children would like to see their mother, whom they lost when they were only 8 and 12 years old. “We’ve never seen mom in this game, we’d like to see her,” Mathys and Hugo, now aged 22 and 27, told him one day.

At the time, his wife was 41 years old, she worked as a sales representative at Courrier Vendéen, and he was 45 years old. “She was passionate about game shows. She took me to Jordan, to Lapland. She was cultured, she was good at games, she often won,” recalls Marc.

Participants from Paris, Montpellier, Lyon

He remembers that he participated in this show with Emeline, Audrey and Wilson. The participants came from Paris, Montpellier, Lyon. “I don’t remember all the names, it was 20 years ago…” remembers Marc Daviaud.

In this game, participants were required not to sleep for 36 hours and to participate in tests, both physical and mental. During the first test, for example, each couple was tied facing each other at a height of more than 18 meters and had to remain that way. At the end of the test, one candidate was eliminated by the others.

During the second test, he had to resist a fire hose and not fall into the swimming pool. In another event, he had to embark on an acrobatic course. “In the last test, I was facing another candidate, and I must not fall asleep. I resisted and I won! In total I went 64 hours without sleeping,” he smiles. His biggest victory today would be finding the footage from this game.
