First look at season 3 of The Walking Dead Daryl Dixon which will see Daryl and Carol's journey continue across Europe. Spoilers.
While season 2 of The Walking Dead Daryl Dixon just ended, AMC has already revealed a first look at season 3. A look that reveals Daryl (Norman Reedus) and Carol (Melissa McBride) arriving in Spain as their journey back to America continues.
Season 2 of Daryl Dixon ended with the main duo defending Ash (Manish Dayal) and Laurent (Louis Puech Scigliuzzi) as they fled to America on the plane. As Daryl and Carol head through the tunnel to England, the psychedelic effects of bat guano lead to conflict, with Daryl killing their guides and Codron (Romain Levi) fleeing. The two survivors leave France and now travel alone to England.
The first trailer for season 3 of Daryl Dixonshows Daryl and Carol finding a mysterious new character played by Stephen Merchant in England. The duo are then seen on a sailboat, before being shown in various locations in Spain. This includes Daryl walking through a small village and Carol looking worriedly at people burning some sort of straw figurine.
Daryl is then seen alone riding his motorcycle through a desert, followed by quick shots of zombies, a new character, and Daryl pointing a gun. The trailer ends with the main duo explaining how they almost thought their journey had ended prematurely, hinting that their lives will be in more danger than ever in the upcoming season.
It was previously confirmed that season 3 of The Walking Dead : Daryl Dixon will take place in Spain before season 2 even airs, so this setting is not surprising. However, it remains unclear how the main duo's trip to England will result in this detour to the Iberian Peninsula, given that their priority is now to return to America.
The trailer also implies that the duo might be separated for much of their trip, especially since they are both seen alone in Spain outside of the very last scene of the trailer. It's possible that they end up using a sailboat to try to get back to America, only for something to block them and separate them.
