Géraldine Maillet gave an interview to Télé Star, on newsstands Monday October 28, 2024. The opportunity for the emblematic columnist of Touche pas à mon poste to discuss the future of the show, a few months before the closure of C8.

A model in the 1990s, Géraldine Maillet quickly became a novelist then a screenwriter, before becoming a television columnist. Annoyed, the columnist blurted out: “I can't understand why such a show stops arbitrarily like that. Because it brings a lot of happiness to millions of people every evening. It's watched a lot in hospitals, in nursing homes. It's a space of freedom like a big family dinneran agora where we disagree, where we argue, we insult each other”.

Assuring not to be contacted by other channels for the moment, Géraldine Maillet added: “I don’t want to be courted. I am a very faithful woman. I am very satisfied, very fulfilled in what I'm doing now”.
