LG Electronics is expanding its LG Channels streaming service in France with the launch of LG Channel 1, a new channel accessible now on LG Smart TVs. Building on the success encountered in England and Germany, the Korean manufacturer is continuing its European expansion like other manufacturers who also offer their own platforms such as Samsung, TCL and Hisense for example.

Exclusive and diversified series

Lionsgate, Filmrise, NBC Universal and Fremantle: so many renowned studios which are joining forces with LG to offer French viewers a varied programming on LG Channel 1. On the program, premium content, previews and the exclusivity of the series Law & Order Toronto: Criminal Intent.

LG Channel 1 provides a diverse catalog of programs, including popular series such as Nashville, Boss et The Royalsas well as exclusive preview titles like Paul T. Goldman et Wong & Winchester. Science fiction fans will be able to find classics of the genre such as Sliders, Quantum Leap et Twelve Monkeys.

If LG is launching into the creation of TV channels with LG Channel 1, other television manufacturers have already adopted this strategy. In fact, most brands now offer their own channel with exclusive programs.
