Jérôme Garcin will be the president of the Brive Book Fair during its 42e editing. The writer and journalist will be the ambassador of the event from November 8 to 10, 2024. Host for 35 years (1989-2023) of the famous show The Mask and the Feather on France Inter, he will schedule around ten meetings, readings and screenings on literature, documents and essays.

These writers who, through their enthusiasm and generosity, have contributed to the public success and national influence of our Book Fair. »

The former host Jérôme Garcin directed cultural editorial teams in L’Express and Le Nouvel Obs and is the author of multiple books such as The Fall of a Horse (Gallimard, 1998, Roger Nimier prize) or My Fragiles (Gallimard, 2023).

Just after the announcement of the autumn grand prizes, the Brive Book Fair is a back-to-school literary event for the public and publishers. More than 400 writers meet there to present their works and meet their readers.
