Members of the ACEB (cultural association in Beaumont region), come to present to us the regional book and Occitan culture meeting which will take place in Beaumont du Périgord on Thursday, May 9 with more than 50 exhibitors and publishers.
For many years, members of the ACEB cultural association in the Beaumont region and its president Daniel Delpech, famous butcher from Beaumont du Périgord, have brought Occitan culture and language to life through Occitan lessons, an Òc café, the Bastid’Òc festival and the meeting of regional books and Occitan culture which will take place this Thursday, May 9, place des arcades in the magnificent bastide of Beaumont du Périgord. Gladys Beylat, Daniel Delpech and Daniel Grimald give us the programming.

- 10 a.m.: Official opening of the show and presentation of the stands
- 11 a.m.: Songs and dances from the South-West by the Troubadours of Guyenne and the Boutarels
- 11:30 a.m.: Award ceremony for the Langue d’Oc poetry competition with the Au Fil de la Trame association
- 12 p.m.: Speech by elected officials. Presentation of 6th and 5th grade students, Occitan option, at Léo Testut college in Beaumont
- 12:30 p.m.: Commemoration with Wreath Laying of St John on the plaque of Martial Rouby, Occitan poet
- 3 p.m.: Trad Ball with the group The Silence of the Flower
- 9 p.m.: Exceptional concert by Marilis ORIONAA, €10/adult
