Traitor! You were probably looking forward to discovering a new episode of “Traitors” this Thursday evening. But as with the contestants in the game show, M6 is playing with its viewers’ nerves by canceling the rest of season 3 of its entertainment. However, since mid-August, the program hosted by Eric Antoine had found its audience very well. But the channel seems to be changing its strategy.
Thursday is Friday!
Last week, M6 had already postponed an unpublished episode of “The Traitors” by one week, in favor of the film Redwith Bruce Willis in the title role. A definite joy for fans of the American actor, but a deep sadness for fans of the game, an adaptation of “The Wolfman”. The suspense was therefore at its peak this week, in order to know if the traitors still in the running (Crazy Sally, Hugo Manos and Laurent Ruquier) will manage to overcome the departure of their sidekick, Frédérique Bel, who had been surprised by some of the game’s candidates, and to dispel the Loyal Ones’ doubts about them.

To find out what happens next in this season of Traitorsviewers will have to wait a little. Indeed, M6 has decided to schedule the next two episodes of its game show this Friday, still at 9:10 p.m. The final episode of the game show has been scheduled for Friday, September 27. Also note that over the next two weeks, episodes of “Kitchen Nightmares”, the famous show hosted by Philippe Etchebest, will occupy the Thursday evening slot. M6 did not wish to communicate on these schedule changes. But on closer inspection, the former small channel that is on the rise probably wants to avoid too much audiovisual competition in the evening.
The Six and the fear of the One?
Looking more closely, the decision of the M6 programmers can be explained quite easily. Indeed, this Thursday evening, TF1 unveils the second part of its fourth season ofHPI, with Audrey Fleurot. The first part had the beautiful Thursday evenings of the channel, with no less than 7 million viewers on average. Difficult to resist such a steamroller. Added to this is the arrival of part II of season 4 ofEmily in Paris which, with the participation of Brigitte Macron, should attract a lot of curious people to Netflix.
