The Qatari channel beIN Sports officially announced on Tuesday the extension of a historic contract.
Good news for beIN Sports subscribers! After having kept one Ligue 1 match per day (that of Saturday at 5 p.m.) for 100 million euros per season, the Qatari channel on Tuesday formalized another very nice move on the TV rights market by extending a historic contract for a thirteenth consecutive season.
Broadcaster of the NBA since its arrival in France, beIN Sports will once again broadcast live matches and key events of the 2024-2025 season, such as the Emirates NBA Cup, the NBA Paris Games with Victor Wembanyama’s San Antonio Spurs, the All-Star Game, the playoffs and of course the NBA Finals.
A 13th consecutive season on beIN Sports
Huge satisfaction for Florent Houzot, while Amazon Prime Video has already acquired certain rights to the North American league from 2025: “The NBA is a historic right of beIN Sports’ offering in France and we are offering for the 13th consecutive season all of beIN Sports’ expertise at the service of the NBA and subscribers. »
“The 2024-2025 season has a great program in store for us with more than 400 live matches, culminating in the two (San Antonio) Spurs matches in Paris in January 2025. With the renewal of our partnership with the NBA, more than ever, we are the US sports channel in France”welcomes the channel’s program director.
