Since 2021, the Prime Video platform has hosted a French show, adapted from a Japanese format: LOL: whoever laughs, gets out!. The principle of the show, and you probably already know it, is to invite around ten personalities for six hours in a 1,200 m2 loft, who must make others laugh, but never laugh yourself under penalty to be eliminated. Each participant plays for the association of their choice, and the show is hosted by Philippe Lacheau, who is responsible for distributing the terrible yellow and red cards.

And during a recent presentation of upcoming content on its platform, Amazon revealed the casting for the next season of LOL: whoever laughs, gets out!.
In the cast of this fifth season, we will therefore find the comedian Artus, who marked the year 2024 with his feature film A little something extra. The latter will have to live in the loft alongside the no less excellent Camille Chamoux, but also Jérôme Niel, Fatou Kaba, without forgetting Muriel Robin, Vincent Dedienne, Fred Testot, Alexandre Kominek, Marina Rollman and finally the king of the punchline of MMA, Cédric Doumbé.
On the networks, the first reactions remain very mixed. If some say they are sober “less hype” that in previous seasons, others mention “a cast slammed to the ground“, “worst casting ever” Or “never having seen such a weak cast“.
